NBA Star Gives Back for the Holidays

NBA Star and former Boys & Girls Club member, Jalen Green, has been a great supporter of our
mission--  to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. He knows firsthand, the impact the Clubs have on young people and it is evident that he has never forgotten where his roots are.

On Tuesday, November 22nd he surprised the Zimmerman Club Members with gifts from Shoe Palace. “Jalen was born and raised in Fresno and has always made it a priority to give back to the city that raised him,” said a Shoe Palace representative.

Along with Adidas shoes and Shoe Palace gift cards, he also provided the Club members with a hot dinner from local restaurant-- Mega Texas Barbeque. Many of our members were overwhelmed with emotions as they received either a brand new pair of shoes or gift card for shoes. A very generous and unexpected early Christmas present. The holidays are special within our Blue Doors because it is a time to create Great Moments that truly lead to Great Futures!
