Volunteer Opportunities

Serve at a Club

Just a few hours a week in a Club can have a tremendous impact on a child’s life. We count on volunteers to help us carry out our mission. Our Clubs offer opportunities for adults to work directly with youth as homework helpers and tutors, activity assistants, and mentors. There are many ways to get involved at every level of our organization. We are flexible and strive to connect you with an opportunity that fits your skills, interests, and availability.

The Process

If you are 18 or under: Complete a volunteer application and submit it to the Administration Office before or on your first day.

If you are over 18: Submit a completed volunteer application, and background authorization to the Administration Office. Please bring your Social Security Card and a Driver’s License or CA ID. The process for adults over 18 years old can take 2-8 weeks.

Volunteer Coordinator: Aliyah Orozco aorozco@bgclubfc.org or (559) 266-3117.

Become a Committee Volunteer

If you enjoy planning special events and want to help our organization in special fundraising efforts, we welcome you to participate as a committee volunteer. You would be planning and implementing special events that benefit a single Club or multiple. Examples of special events include: City-County All Star Football Games, Stepping Up for Kids, Youth of the Year, etc.
