Torch Club Summit 2024

Torch Clubs are small-groups within Clubhouses that focus on leadership and service skills for boys and girls ages 11 to 13. A Torch Club is a powerful vehicle that helps Club staff meet special character development needs. Torch Club members elect officers and work together to implement projects in the four focus areas: service to Club and community; education; health and fitness; and social recreation.

On March 28th, Torch Clubs from all of our Clubs came together for a summit where members we’re celebrated, acknowledged for their hard work, and encouraged to keep up the good work.

Activities included; short workshops, lunch form Raising Canes, an ice cream social, yoga, and tournaments in varies games. Winners from all the tournaments received prizes and everyone took home raffles prizes, custom t-shirts, and more!

“We had a painting race in one of the workshops and we painted with our toes! It was a little hard but my friends were cheering me on,” said Angelique, Zimmerman Club member.

“I loved seeing my kiddos slow down during the yoga session. I was very impressed by their dedication to get the moves right,” said Kim Carter, Clovis Club Director.
