Collector's Club Crusin' 4 Cash Hosts Car Show for Clubs
On October 1st, a vintage car show raised $15,000 to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County. The group of vintage car enthusiasts responsible for this incredible fundraiser and generous gift was a collectors club called Crusin’ 4 Cash.
“When community partners embrace the Boys & Girls Clubs mission and remember us when they are planning fundraisers it’s amazing! It makes my job easier and I have so much fun helping them in any way I can,” said Sandra Dee Chaney, Director of Community Relations & Special Events.
The event took place in the Field House parking lot, a local restaurant off Copper and Maple Avenue. There was a BBQ, dessert trucks, DJ, and a 50/50 raffle. Event organizer Joaquin Peralez, with Cooper Chase Construction, said Crusin’ 4 Cash asked for sponsors prior to the event to make sure of its success. We are grateful to Cooper Chase Construction, Westech, Fireco US, Solar Negotiators Inc., Semper Speed & Marine, Fresno Plumbing & Heating Inc., and Vince Lopez Jr. & Sons for becoming sponsors of this event. We are also grateful for the community who attended.
“Solar Negotiators has close ties with this community. We were proud to be a sponsor [of the event] and have supported the Boys & Girls Clubs and the work they do for many years,” said Nick Grim, Marketing & Media Manager at Solar Negotiators Inc.
The funds raised go directly to the kids & teens in our 15 Clubs across Fresno County.
